Our functional fitness classes are for any demographic and fitness level. These workouts include many different movements (weightlifting, cardio, gymnastics), rep schemes, loads, and time domains. That doesn’t mean workouts are random, our programming strategically varies the workout stimulus so that you’re prepared for any and all physical tasks. You’ll never get bored!
Pelvic floor rehab and training: This is for any athletes who are pregnant, post-partum, or experiencing pelvic floor symptoms! We offer a 6 week postpartum rehab and strength program where we focus on rebuilding a solid foundation for the pelvic floor and progressively build strength so that you can get back to doing the things you love! This program would be appropriate for any postpartum OR anyone who experiences pelvic floor symptoms.
If you are pregnant and looking to start/continue training we offer a 1-time 1:1 consult. In the consult we would assess: stage of pregnancy, symptoms/overall health, and appropriate modifications/scales for each trimester. After, we invite you to join our group classes where we will guide you through workouts with appropriate modifications and coaching.
This class is for anyone over 50 years old. In this class, we focus on mobility, strength and conditioning with relative intensity. Our goal is to create a fun atmosphere where you can start/get back to exercise.
Tuesdays at 6 - 7 PM.

Working with a personal trainer can be life changing. We can create an exercise program uniquely curated to your needs. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build strength, work around an injury, or you don't enjoy group classes, then PT is a great option for you!
This is for people who do not have prior experience with the functional fitness methodology we use here at Southland Barbell. During the on-ramp we take the time to teach you safe movement in a controlled environment. In on-ramp we take those first steps to getting you fit and slowly progress you from there. No experience necessary. Upon completion of on-ramp you will be ready to join our group classes. If you have prior CrossFit experience, you do not need to on-ramp.
